UK Science chief: We need fewer people to halt global warming

You are a carbon footprint.  Your life causes global warming.  Your historic consumption has risked the future of mankind.  Public policy demands that your life and your historic carbon footprint be tracked and identified, and if it is found that your ultimate carbon footprint exceeds the global average by more than 100%, your ability to further damage the global environment must be arrested for the benefit and the continued existence of mankind. 

Yep, this is where we are headed.
