If the media coverage on climate change is leaving you with an overwhelming sense of doom and despair, here's a bit of good news: The Global Warming Café is coming to Burnaby, and everyone is invited to meet and discuss ideas on how to combat climate change.
Brad Hornick helps organize the café meetings, which have been running in Vancouver since May.
"(This) opportunity is for people, real people, ... to come together to talk about their fears and hopes and the challenges of climate change," he said. "We're hoping people sort of meet in an intimate way ... so people can really talk from their heart."
